APV President Honored at Federal Expo

ARLINGTON, Virginia – June 25, 2015 – At the 10th annual Federal Business Forum & Expo hosted by Minority Enterprise Advocate magazine, president and founder of A P Ventures (APV), Nandita Gududuri, received the Technology Business Executive of the Year award.

Gududuri is the woman behind the woman-owned IT firm founded in 2006 in Columbia, Maryland. The firm specializes in e-learning, web design and portal development, strategic staffing and management consulting, custom software development, and ERP solutions.

“It is exciting and an honor to be recognized,” shared Gududuri, who heads a team of information technology specialists at the 8(a) certified small business. The company has grown exponentially since 2006: for the past four years, Gududuri has overseen over 200% annual growth in revenue, and a 100% increase in annual employee growth.

Under Gududuri’s direction, APV has provided solutions for state information systems and web development needs through partnerships with Maryland state agencies such as the Maryland State Department of Education and the Maryland Courts, as well as numerous private-sector companies, such as Scholastic© and the National Science Digital Library. Through recent awards from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and General Services Admission, as well as the Smithsonian Institution, Gududuri is now leading her team at APV into the federal sector.
