A P Ventures Awarded Contract to Support USDA DHPP HEMP!

A P Ventures (APV) has been awarded another contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS). This contract will provide technical support, outreach, and education for the Domestic Hemp Production Program (DHPP).

DHPP is responsible for developing and enforcing standards for hemp production in the United States as part of the 2018 Farm Bill (Agricultural Improvement Act). APV will partner with DHPP to develop resources to promote stakeholder understanding of the program and its regulations and best practices.  APV support will be critical to further institutionalize the program’s education and outreach materials across the current network of states and tribes with approved hemp plans, current and future hemp producers licensed by USDA, sampling agents, testing laboratories, and law enforcement officials serving all vital stakeholders in domestic hemp production.

For this contract with USDA DHPP, APV will leverage its notable track record in delivering innovative training solutions, which have become the gold standard for the USDA’s National Organic Program. Since the launch of the Organic Integrity Learning Center (OILC), APV’s work has helped support over 9,000 certifiers and inspectors
